Shed Reducing Smart Collar

Just wondering if anyone has tried the shed reducing smart collars. Do they work? I would get one if I knew it worked.

I have never heard of these, I will be interested if anyone has any opinion.

I got a Wagjag offer for half price. They are $50 on sale for $24. You can see them on their website www.thesmartcollar.com. The Wagjag offer was ending in seven hours so I bought one. I hope it's not a ripoff.

I would not waste on my on this . I think best to bush your dog this way you'll be able to check for fleas and ticks as the same time. And dogs loves the extra
attention.

oh I've got an ionic bridge I can sell you.. It's truly AMAZING and SMART! proven to cut down your commute time in half!

..basically what I think of that collar...

You're better off buying a Furminator brush and brushing your dog every few days.

Notice that no where on the site does it explain what the "1 year warranty and a 30 day money back guarantee" actually cover. It's likely only for breakage. The warranty is not explained either; is it pro-rated for use? That information should be available without having to contact the company.

Note too: It only claims to reduce shedding. Not stop it. How is that to be measured? My dog's shed varies from year to year and season to season.

Sometimes those magnetic devices can have results on people, because people believe in them and that's where the curative or whatever powers come from. Placebos do work sometimes. How is one to convince their dog to believe?

There's a sucker born every minute.

A fool and his money are soon parted.

If this collar is made in China and has a magnetic device in it you could not pay me to put it on my dog. I have friend and her daughter in law brought some magnetic earrings for her little girl. After she wore the earrings for a few days her ears got a rash . The earrings where made in China.

before buying the collar
what kind of dog are we talking about?? how old??

I would look into what kind of food you are feeding,
are you supplementing with omega's
and how many times are you grooming him/her
and is the shedding all the time, or just seasonal

just a few things to consider

Smart Collar

My chocolate lab has been wearing the collar for about one week and her shedding has been considerably reduced. Even when I run my hands down her back I barely pull out any fur! So far so good, I'll kep you posted over time.
