Dalmations - looking for
 

howdy all,

I'm trying to get into contact with different breeders and clubs. I think i may have found one more local to me (Seattle area) but if you could point me in the direction of other breeders that would be great.

Well I only found this on the AKC website:

But this person should be able to get you in touch with Dal breeders on the west coast. You can also check the breeder listings in Dog Fancy or other monthlies...it's not guaranteed that thesde will necessarily be GOOD breeders, but once you strt networking, you should be able to get referals.

Good luck! I have a friend with a Dal mix - all I know is they are high energy dogs who shed a lot, but they are sweet as heck usually. :)

If so there are a number of wonderful rescues for Dals :)

As a matter of fact I have seen a bunch of them on petfinder.

Many shelters and rescues are glutted with Dals - even puppies.

Try to see if you can rescue a Dalmatian. There are many out there dumped off because they are super duper hyper. We found ours in the pound? Be prepared for lots of play....cuddling and lots of kisses!
