cat uses our vegetable garden as a litter box? what can we do?

is there a product out there we can use to stop our cats from using the garden as a litter box, they do have a inside one they use all the time. We need something that will stop them but at the same time is safe for our vegetables and us.

Thank you

Hi,

Yes there are repellents that can be used....but not where food is concerned.

SUGGESTIONS:

1- try putting a cage around the area in question
2- put a ltter box out side.
3-give your cat an area with soil where it can poop outside.

JUST SO YKNOW....although it may be gross for you...cat poop is good for soil.
As long as you wash your veggies...there shouldn't be a problem.

It's not safe to work in a garden that has cat poop in it and cat poop can be harmful to pregnant women.
