Is anyone else having problems getting onto Pets?

The last couple of weeks I have been having issues with moving from one thread to another on Pets. I click on Today's Post and get the message that Pets is not available. This happens for probably a minute or two and then I can get back in. It's very annoying when it happens about ten times a day or so.
My other sites that I have open at the same time are working fine.

This is the message I got at 12:39 AM Monday morning. It lasted approx 70 seconds. My other site that is open worked wonderfully during the same time. :

Think I figured it out. Thanks anyway.

So how did you fix it, 14+?

chico2 June 14th, 2010 04:08 PM

Evidently Google Chrome doesn't like Pets. I changed my browzer for Pets. Easy peasy. Kept the game site I am on open on Chrome because I never had a problem with it but went back to IE for Pets.

Glad I never downloaded Chrome, then :o I thought about it for a while, but eventually settled on Mozilla Firefox, which works well, too :thumbs up

I hate Firefox. Chrome worked very well until a couple of weeks ago. I guess there's a few bugs to iron out. Actually, I am not crazy about the way they all track our use. :frustrated: At least with Chrome you know it.

I just erase the complete history every time I leave any browser  I didn't used to do that because it would take so long for pages to reload without using the cache when I was on dial-up, but since moving to DSL I don't care anymore. :D

Oh this darn technology eh? :frustrated:

I use IE for PETS but I need to use Chrome for WebEx programming sessions as IE doesn't work with WebEx. Go Figure!
