Which of the Fancy Feast varieties is the best ?
I've read here that some of the Fancy Feast tinned foods aren't too bad. But I can't figure out which ones they are !

The fancy feast varieties that all my cats love and I don't find the ingredients to be bad on are.
Tender Beef Feast Chicken and Liver Feast Beef and Liver Feast Chicken Feast (its shredded chicken) Salmon Feast Cod, sole and shrimp feast Turkey and giblets feast All are pate's except for the chicken feast. There are grilled salmon, chicken and beef varieties too, all of them have shredded meat in them, but my cats prefer mainly pate's. Cindy |
I would only buy the pate type and not any that are chunks & gravy style.

I think fancy feast only has one or 2 chunk styles, one is turkey....the other is chicken and salmon I think. I don't trust the chunk varieties, my cats like the shredded once in a while, but mostly they love the pate.

Mine like the chicken variety pack and turkey. They're so-so on the beef though. I've been buying the 24 packs, and I'll give them a variety in each meal. I've also started adding a can of Sheeba to their mix now and then to give it some added flavor and texture.
They like both the pate and shredded, but Vlad likes to lick up the gravy, so he likes those kind the best. |
Here's a link to a list of the gluten-free, low carb Fancy Feast flavours: http://www.felinediabetes.com/glutenfree.htm There may be others as I'm not sure how old the list is, but that's a good place to start.
