My Poppies bloomed overnight!!
 

Well I posted a pic yesterday of my poppies not open yet and this is what I found this morning! Now they are supposed to be orange but these ones look red?

Red, orange...they're still beautiful! :D I love poppies...my mom used to grow them. I had some here, but between the weed whacker (poppies seem to look incredible weedy to guys) and the dogs, I haven't seen a bloom since the first summer. :sad:

Beautiful!!!!!!!!! Doesn't look too orange to me though.:shrug: I would think seed didn't come true from parent plant.

Winston,I love the red,I actually only remember red poppies from when I was a kid.
Mine(orangey)are just about done for this year.
