Anyone else craft from recycled materials?
 

I have been bitten by the crafting bug lately.

a few months ago someone gave me all their material remnants.

i do NOT sew. :)

online i found so many ideas on what to make with all this cloth.

so i have been making stuff for my dogs..........

a 'tied' and stuffed dog bed!

ripping strips of cloth to knit blankets!

i also made a few collars out of old belts and tug toys from used rope.

so cool to make use of stuff that was going to be thrown away!

I made is especially for my Pitty Pearl...................but as you can see from this photo.........my Dobe Stormy thought it would do for him. :)

i love the beds. i am sewer i like to sew skirts and dresses. i also made a coustume for my cat he's gonna be a dragon.:thumbs up:pawprint: crazy catlover

I've never seen such a royal bed. :)

All these came from one large men's sweater. Three cautions: The lint can gum up your washer, dryer and sewing machine, you must clean them much more often if you do this.

What a great idea. I have toyed with the idea of making a fleece bed for our pets. I am sure that they would love it. And the recycled part is even better:) Helping the environment and your pocketbook at the same time.
