SD Card

I want to put my critter pics from my phone onto my computer so I can share them here so I know how to do that but when I went to I realized there was a whole load of crap photos from Allrecipes on there too!! Don't know how they got on there but anyway I don't want to have to load them then delete them. Anybody know how to fix this, I'm running Windows XP

when you put your sd card in your pc does it show all the pics right away with check mark in a box.

Try this: (I just tested it on a vista machine)
1 - load card into computer
2 - click start menu (the circular icon with the windows flag) located at the bottom left of your screen
3 - You'll see 2 columns of choices and in the right column you'll see a choice that says computer - click it
4 - At this point you should see the card and all the other drives that are attached to the computer.

So just click the card, then click down into the folder that has the pics.

Hope that may help

Is there a delete function on your phone? If you don't want the pics, you can probably delete them off the card from your phone, leaving only the ones you want to share.

argh I transferred them all over and then just tried to save the ones I want to an existing folder and then deleted everything...and everything was gone even the ones I put in a folder!! They're still on the card so I guess I'll have to try again....why is this harder than it should be!! I have some really nice head shots of Nino and a really cute one of one of Noella's paws/toes...she's got a pink toe, a black toe, a pink toe and a black toe...so cute!!

Pattymac, they could all be sitting in your recycle bin. Click on that (Recycle Bin) and you should see a bunch of files in it. Then click "view" then click "Thumbnails" in view.

Click on the pictures you want then on the upper left it says "restore this item". This will put them back into the existing folder.

you can actually uncheck the ones you don't want to transfer on your computer. something will pop out when you insert your SD card or plug your phone on your pc
