:laughing::laughing:Jim,it sounds like my mornings.
Kitty-feeding time takes about 30 min+,me following them around with their dishes,making sure Chico has a quiet spot,watching Vinnie so he does not eat all the dishes:laughing: Rocky starts in the kitchen,then I have to follow him with his dish to the den-window where he finishes,fun,fun,fun... When I finally sit down with my coffee and morning-paper,Vinnie decides,he's more important than the paper:laughing:plunks himself down:cat: |
We have similar issues here, but since I've been insane for years, I don't notice them so much any more. :o
:crazy: Good luck, Jim! And when you need it, there will always be a spare rubber room here for ya! :laughing: |

Plus, they tickle. So you should think long and hard before taking on crickets! :o |
I'm sorry. I am missing what your problem is. :shrug: Rocks don't make a mess, shed, or tear through your house at 100 miles an hour. But then again..... rocks don't cuddle or purr or melt your heart.

I only have two and it's the same silly feeding rituals. Shadow has developed a habit where she won't eat until Halo has finished eating and left the kitchen. Given her preference I leave the kitchen also so that she can push her dish across the floor to wherever she decides is a good spot to eat that given day. Maybe she'll eat it maybe she won't. But mom can't go far because if Shadow decides not to eat and just leaves it there Halo may decide to go in and have dinner #2. Which she doesn't need. She's actually pretty good, she has never eaten Shadow's dinner if it's in the bowl, but will lick the empty bowl just to make sure it's truly empty. Shadow is a Queen and likes to eat in private it seems. So how long do pet rocks live anyhow??

And people laugh when they learn we leave pages and pages and pages of "What to do if she does that..." instructions for the sitter if we have to be away for a day. :laughing:
