He asked me about why I had an empty cat carrier in the back of my van, and I explained that I always had one in case I ever needed it for an injured animal, lost or stray one.... and he asks me if I've heard what happened to the dog in Buffalo that died in front of the vets office, well that was it, I blubbered all the way to Wegman's.

How a vet, any vet could see this animal and not spring into action immediately is beyond me....I really hope the SPCA can charge this vet with something and that all of his clients find another vet!

:rip: Red/Kenny...

OMG that is such an unbelievably sad story :cry: From the people who let him get like that, to the ones who left him there to the employees of that hospital...the power and magnitude of human apathy towards animals just makes me sick!

Ohhh my!!! I am crying at my desk!! How awful!!! What is wrong with the vet's office???!! :wall:

R.I.P. Red, you were loved when you went over the bridge, run pain free sweet thing and rest assured those that chose to ignore your plight will never be free of their guilt in this or the next life....:sorry:

OMG:cry:,,how could anyone ignore this poor Cockers suffering, much less a vet.
That is one place that would never see any of my animals,it's sickening:cry:
Melinda is right, someone starved this little boy and they are equally horrific, unless he's been lost for a long time, unable to find food:confused:

Poor, poor little Red,thank you to the SPCA for trying their best, hopefully this vet-clinic will be plastered all over the newspapers, some justice for Red.
He's at the bridge now, back to his healthy beautiful Cocker-Spaniel self,no more suffering.
:rip:sweet boy,so very sorry:angel2:

I can't bring myself to look at the sites. Just wanted to say I am so sorry you had to go through that hon. :grouphug: You have a huge heart. I know how badly things like that bother you.

:candle::rip: little Red :candle: :sad:

How horrible! A vet is someone who is supposed to care about animals! I guess this one only cares about the ones that can pay.:mad::cry:

RIP Red......play well over the bridge. :rip:

I was following this story all last week then, it was announced on Friday about Red's fate.

It just totally sickened me to think that he treated like a pile of garbage on someone's doorstep--especially a vets :frustrated:

:rip: Sweet Little Red--run free :candle:

I can't bring myself to read the story, but I get the gist of it. That is beyond disgusting to me.

You would almost expect that from many people, but you would hope a vet would have more compassion! :wall:
