It might be Canine Lupus

My one year old Golden Retriever might have Canine Lupus. For the past few months we have seen some of the symptoms like, when you toch his back and his face he cries in pain. He used to vomet. He is not intrested in his food anymore either. He is not as active and playful as he used to be. He sleeps are moves around slowly and acts like he is feeling horrible.

The vet has taken a few tests. The only one he found a problem with a Kidney Infection. Today I have been looking up things about Canine Lupus, on a few websites it says it is something wrong with the Immune system and Kidneys. Please help out, my family is very concered.

Read the post below - they are having the same problem with their dog too. Like I said, my sisters 4 yr. old Malamute had the same symptoms, vet thought it was a kidney infection, but went through hords of tests & expensive specialists. It ends up being Canine Lupus - the dog is on meds now and is feeling much better. There is no cure for Lupus, just treatment. Read up on whatever you can find, then ask your vet to treat your dog as soon as possible. Good luck!!
