Hi members - anyone have any ideas for this month's photo theme?

Thx!

Remembrance? past, present, furry, friend whatever....a special memory photo?

I like remembrance and November is a good month for that.

This sounds like a wonderful challenge. I am going to see if I can scan and post some photos of some of the dogs that have shared my life.

Nice idea Winston - First one of it's kind - merging posts now

Suggestion posts merged and this month we are trying something a bit new.
This month we are posting pics of pets that have passed on. Lovely suggestion Winston!

Ok then who will post first?
(I'd post immediately if i was on my own computer...I'll post some of my beauty cuties who've crossed over tomorrow)

November is a right time to remember our loved ones that have departed of any species :lovestruck:
I'm already tearing here :( but anyways first of all I wish I had pics of all my babies since I was a kid since I've loved them all. Some I've nursed since very young, some I got already grown. I love each and everyone of them. (I believe this must be true for most of us here on this board)

But for now I found this cute pic of my Peanut (the doggy) and Kotesu aka Mr. Kitten both of them have crossed the rainbow bridge. (Kotesu grew up to be a handsome strong cat at least :'( )

I was looking for my great romance Etienne (cat). I have his pic in my living room on an end table but apparently I can't find it online... Oh wells...
If I find more I'll share some more of my woves.

Everyone has such beautiful angels watching over them! :lovestruck:

Goldfields November 8th, 2013 10:26 PM

You can see the love and contentment in these animal's eyes, even if Zak was probably sighing and thinking what will they do to me next. LOL. Beautiful animals, each and every one of them. DOG, Kitty was just gorgeous, what a loss. You have my sympathy. I'll bet you are all like me and would give anything to have any one of your angels back for just half an hour.

You betcha GF. :thumbs up Growing up, I also had many childhood pets.

Panther (a lovely black [domesticated] cat), Penny (German Shepherd), Sandy (rescued Mutt) and Fluffy (rescued cat).

As I type their names, each of them brings me a fond memory, complimented with a smile. :angel2:

My sweet Sandy was a smart pup and I'm sure he could of taught Gryphon a few tricks or two! :D

Goldfields November 10th, 2013 12:21 AM

:) You never forget the smartness of some. From childhood on we had Flaps(pure English blue roan Cocker Spaniel), Scottie(Fox Terrier, smartest dog in the world) LOL, Bismuth(a rather aggro cross bred black dog), my first Tammy(a sheltie) and oh dear, I can't recall the next one's name, a Kelpie cross belonging to my brother really, Bluey I think it was, and his cat, Muffin. Muffin was lovely, he used to like smelling the flowers if mum had a vase full of them anywhere. I just let rip once I got married and had my own place, have had 20 dogs since then, and 6 cats , plus ponies, sheep, birds etc.. That's over a lot of years though. :)

Soundy November 25th, 2013 01:09 PM

Well, I'll kick off with two of the three dogs I had growing up, Tyler (corgi) and Choc'lit (Shepherd x Malamute):

Didn't have any more pets until after I got married, then it was cats - Screech (tuxedo), Tabatha (Himalayan), and Buster (Persian):

And most recently... Minnie, who we had all of four months before she died unexpectedly. We were her fourth home within a month, and she was terrified to go on walks because she thought every time she left her home, she wouldn't be coming back again... but she looooooved the dog park and running in the grass, and these two pics were shot on her first visit there with us (I added the caption on the second one after she passed, still chokes me up when I read it):
