innova

Hi.I just bought some Innova large breed for Jag.And Innova large breed puppy for Ben.We were told it was better than Nutro natural that they were on and doing good.So just wandering some of your thoughts on the food.thanks in advance.

I've been feeding Innova for awhile now and both my boys are doing great on it. And, yes, it is a lot better than Nutro.

well ben was and is under weight.his last weighing he was 64lbs and the vet said he should be around 80lbs.so we thought he might gain the weight better and hopefully on less food.Jag likes it also.which is good.

I hope they do well on it. :fingerscr

Yes so are we.they go crazy when you have some in my hand.

Innova is a very highly ranked food. Go slow with the switch over to help prevent any "splats". My pup unfortunately did not do well on the innova, I think it was a bit to rich for him but it is a great food. Good luck.

thanks TeriM.i still have some of his old food left.i'm always introducing new foods to his kibble and never a problem. So i think he should be fine.he goes crazy for it.Hes 18months and we got him the large/giant breed. And Ben is 7 months and on the large/giant breed puppy.Jag was doing real good on the nutro high energy. But i wanted something better for him.So hopefully this will work out out well for him and Ben.Seeing Ben is under weight. And was when bro adopted him.he was 54 lbs.and just last week was 64lbs and on nutro also.all our dogs have been on nutro and done well.must break the cycle.

Yeah, I agree- it's a good food, but nutro still has stool hardeners in it that Innova lacks, so you may have to switch more gradually than usual. You might also have to gradually reduce the amount you're feeding a bit too.

were going slow and feeding less for better nutrition is what were hoping for.i wanted TO but couldn't find.so this will do just fine.one of the reasons i switched was the nutro being grain protien.and Innova being meat protien.thats what they said.anyway The mister likes it.if it doesn't work back to nutro or eagle pack.
