Fox hunting under snow.
 

Brings back fond memories.I have seen this behaviour often but never heard about the ‘facing North’ thing... not sure why that would help ‘home’ on a target under the snow... Sooo much we don’t know....

I'd never heard about that 'facing north' thing, either. You'd think if his success rate was that high when facing a certain direction, he'd make a slight change of strategy and [I]always[/I] hunt from south to north...

Sure was fun to see him make those dives!

That's pretty amazing really. Great to watch, what a jumper.
