Help! My Kitten has dragon breath
 

My 6 month old kitten is losing baby teeth which I understand is normal, but his mouth smells! The smell seems to be the strongest from the side of his mouth where his back tooth is loose - could he have rotten baby teeth at 6 months? Should I take him to the vet? Thanks in advance!
