Rainbow -- if you are out there -- I couldn't pm you but wanted to thank you for the recent information you sent.

What a great update, SuperWanda!! Glad to hear that Timber is doing so well! :grouphug:

I'm also glad the e-clinic is waking up to the fact that these diseases are out there and getting more common! :thumbs up

Ah heck, I hold my breath everytime there is a scheduled checkup. So happy to hear how well things are going, what a huge relief, what a battle......

How often are you going to run blood work and monitor? You know how these things can sneak up on you, and I'm always afraid of the relapse.

Glad to hear about that letter from the e-clinic. I am sure that you and timber had a role in this!

Hello,
Yes I know a lot about thrombocytopenia......I lost my most treasured blue point siamese cat this morning. She suffered from asthma, diabetes, and low platelet count. At one point she was down to 9 thousand which is dangerously low. I am still reeling from the loss and miss her with all of my heart.
Please contact me if I can help you ...........my best wishes to your four legged baby

I'm so sorry for your loss, MichNative. :grouphug: The hardest part about giving your love to animals is letting them go when it's time. My heart goes out to you.
