My dog sleeps in her kennel in the garage. At what temperature in the garage can she withstand. She is a 75 pound black lab.

What she weighs does not matter. Why she does not share your comfort does.

I do not know where you are. "Up North" is very cold right now, I'm in Florida and my heat is on too. Ciara has taken over the couch, no room for me. That's why I am bothering everyone here tonight. Your dog should be comfortable also. I dread having to move Ciara to her bedroom....(psst....the couch is my bed, she has the bedroom, she can be a grump when awakened)

Hey kdog. Well, if you live anywhere in Canada or the northern United States, and if your garage is unheated, I'd suggest bringing her inside for the winter. I don't think anyone here can give you a defininte temperature - each dog is different in its tolerance levels, just like people. A lot of people think they'll be ok because they have fur coats. My answer to that is, if you were wearing a fur coat, would you want to sleep in the cold garage? Don't forget; their noses, ears, paws, etc... don't have an abundant fur covering and are just as prone to frost bite as we are.

Just curious - where is the dog during the day?

My garage is heated and I would never think of putting my dog there at night and isolating her from the household.
