There was a brief account this morning about a too friendly pit-bull in the Star.
Apparently a couple of robbers knew there was a pittie in the house they were about to rob. They broke into the house, armed with a pack of Hot-Dogs,the "feared very dangerous"pittie ate his hot-dogs and allowed the robbers to go about their business....the owners came home to find their house had been robbed, together with a happy satisfied Pit-Bull.
Now,although he was not exactly protecting the house, had he attacked the bad guys, this story would have made Head-Lines

Yes, it should have made the headlines, People need to know the truth about pits, they make horrible guarddogs, they are far to freindly for that kind of work. Some people get pits for the wrong reasons, they read how mean the papers make them out to be, so they think they would be an exelent guarddog \protector, but in reality they are big babies, now the new owners find this quite uppsetting that there guard dog is freindly, and this leads to abuse and adbandenment of the dogs. I'm sure the people in that artical were just normal pit owners, with a lovable dog, and are not to surpriesed that the burglers got away. I'm sure there will be no comment from Bryant on that incident.

Look at the ignorance of police though ... the OPP spokesperson is surprised that a pit bull would be so easily tricked:
Knowing it was a pit bull, "it makes sense that they (the thieves) would want to prepare for this dog," said OPP spokesperson Krista Schaus. "But they only removed four hot dogs ... and left the package behind at the scene."
It's surprising that a pit bull could be so easily duped, she added."
And these are the "experts" that Michael Bryant thinks can make decisions about dangerous dogs?

Maybe Bryant will add a clause to the legislation, that forces pit bull owners to carry hot-dogs at all times. :)

Funny one Loki. It may calm your dog down but can you imagine all the dogs chasing you in the park?
