Do you support Bill 132, the McGuinty Government's Bill to ban pit bulls in the Province of Ontario.

91% No, penalties for negligent owners of all dangerous dogs should be increased
9% No, there is no need to change existing laws

Why is it that Bryant is only receiving the emails from those that are for the ban... what about the other letters??! Does he just throw them out and they don't count???

It appears that is exactly what they are doing .Maybe we should all do the same thing when we votein 3 years, simply ignore the Ontario liberal party .

Actually I think Bryant is putting them in his Pro-ban pile to make it look thinker!! Seriously. I got a letter back from Bryant (form letter) "thanking me for my support on the Pitbull issue". If he had read even as far as the subject line (Pitbull ban undemocratic) he wouldn't have sent me a "thank you letter". I honestly believe that for whatever personal reason, MB is obsessed and not thinking clearly/rationally about this issue. I honestly think that he thinks there are "only a handfull" of us against his idea.
I don't believe Bryant is the way to target this issue.... he is too far gone, off in lala ban the pitbulls land to reach!! I think we need to scare his party, and feed off the oppositions desire to be in party next election. If the rest of the MPPs vote no, Bryant is SOL, no matter what his obsession.
Just my 2 cents! :p

I think your right about not wasting our time on Bryant. He looks at this as his shining moment. After all who know who he was before the pit bull made him famous I think we need to influence the media now since they are the ones who handed Bryant this opportunity in the first place. The Alex P thing was wonderful but now that its done its back to reporting alleged pb maulings as sensationalised as possible. I firmly believe that now that so much education has been put out to the public that when a dog atttack occurs the reporters should now be on the ball enough to ask questions like "was the dog nuetered or spayed, was he or she used as a guard dog, was he socialised with people and animals etc.? That was the stance I toook when I complained about the media coverage on City weeks ago. Also we need to make sure that when a given period of time goes by and they say theres been however many pit bull attacks we try to find out if theres been dog attacks of other breeds in that same period of time and bring it to their attention. Maybe we should have media contacts that we routinely email and phone like we do the politicos.

That's an excellant point. I haven't received any responses from MPPs, but I would ask that anyone who received a similar response send it to any MPPs against the ban who would be interested in seeing this. Check out the thread I posted the article about the "for the ban" petition. This is getting slimier and slimier.

1% Yes, pit bulls are a dangerous dog and should be banned
89% No, penalties for negligent owners of all dangerous dogs should be increased
10% No, there is no need to change existing laws
Well I agree with Sheriffsmom he probably puts them in his pro ban file and will throw them out when people want to see them. Bryant is an idiot we all no that and I am sure he is not above lying opps he does that already We need to focus on the premier and other political parties. We also need to find out if dalton does in fact still own a pit bull and if he feels that his dog will be above the ban.
