Help my cat can not walk???

November 14th, 2004, 08:47 PM
My cat is an outside cat. She staggered up to me this afternoon. It was like her back legs were not working right. She also is lathargic and seems to be sensitive to light. I put her on a chair and went to work. When I came home 6 hours later she was still in the same chair. She is purring when pet and does not have any wounds or sores, but she still is lame. She is not in any pain when I move her limbs. I tried to give her a little balonga ( her fav) but she didnt even sniff it. She was perfectly healthy yesterday when I fed her and her brother. Help what is wrong???

Your cat could have been hit by a cruel person, run over, poisoned, or grabbed and shaken by a dog. These are a few of the hazards of outside cats.

I don't understand why your cat is so seriously injured/sick and suffering and you haven't taken her to a vet yet? She doesn't need bologna - she needs to go immediately and get medical treatment, just as you would go to the doctor right away if you could'nt walk.
