This is a great article. I'm finding it uplifting the number of articles I'm finding lately referring to how the dog was bred to be "people-friendly".

Well imagine that it has to do with owner responsibility. Very well written article I guess I should send that along to the village idiot maybe he could educate himself before part 2 of the interview tonight.

Great article, researched, well balanced and written by a true "expert".
He also does recognize there is currently a problem with the purposeful breeding of aggressive dogs and presents a solution.

I notice that the writer's last name is Coren as in Michael Coren. Wouldn't it be a hoot if they were related, considering Michael has proven himself an idiot ont the pit bull issue! search posts from Sept.04 under "coren".

Did any of you do the google search for "Game Bred" Pits as the article suggested? I was horrified! I didn't actually enter any of the sites, but it was obvious from the 1 sentence accompanyment what the sites were about. 1 In particular stood out, said they are associated with "American Dog Breeders Association", and it is VERY obvious why they breed Pitbulls. It says they "promote" responsible ownership...SICK SICK SICK people! Those are the type of ppl Michael Bryant should be going after!!!!
****Glad to see the Post being objective though!! Thanks for posting the link!*** Sorry about the above tangent!
