Hamsters for adoption?

Does anyone know were someone can go about adopting one other then the SPCA in Montreal, this not for me but for someone I know who ask me if I knew and since I have not a clue I though I would ask.

there are two rescues that carrry hamsters, one is the watchdog committee and the other is reptile watch. I can get their info for you if you wish. Both work with many different rescues in the area.

I just have to say that I think rescued hamsters are awesome. Of the three hammies i've had in my life, two of them were rescues. They are the friendliest little things while my original pet store hammie was mister nippy. I think that rescue greatfulness applies to more than just cats and dogs :). They know and they love you for it.
