Reasonable Dog-Sitter in Toronto or GTA?

My quest continues to find decent home-boarding for my dog just in case I don't adopt him by mid December.

Every single dog-sitter that I've contacted charges up to $50/day! I'll be gone for 2 weeks, that's alot of dough.

Anyhow, searching the web is exhausting and I'm hoping for more feedback or suggestions on what to do with my dog when I go away.

Anybody out there know somebody who knows somebody that dog sits in Toronto and doesn't charge a whole month's pay?!

do you have boarding kennels here? I put my mastiff into one when we went on holiday i asked my dog trainer for one she recommended they were a couple who rang it and loved mastiffs had there own and he was spoilt rotten I paid 6 pound a day which is roughly 12 cad not sure if you have bording kennels in canada only new here if there are any perhaps someone could recommend a good one. I unfortunately am to far for toronto to offer dog sitting lol!!
