I have two female cats:cat::cat:. They are both going to turn 5 years old this year. My oldest one (the first one that I got), I had her as a baby. The second one was a stray at my sister's house. I took her in when she was one year old (so I've had her for 4 years).
When I first took her in, she meowed ALL THE TIME. I got her recommended food by the vet and other things and now she only meows a few times a day (when I get home, when she's going up the steps, when she wants food/water). But it's been four years that she's constantly waking me up at night.
She used to meow at night, waking me up, but now she is kneading on my blankets (and/or on my skin) or she'll start eating my hair. I tried just putting her off my bed, but she just comes right back. I recently started locking her out of my room when she wakes me up, but then she meows outside of my room, waking up my parents.
I don't know what else to do so she stops waking me up. Any suggestions?
