Dog Groomers - Toronto

I am wondering if anyone has suggestions for a dog groomer in the Toronto area that can work with an anxious large dog, and would allow me to stay with the dog and work with him while they groom him?

My dog has leave anxiety issues, and it's a work in progress, but I want to get him groomed properly since I can't do as good as a job as a groomer. He also has general anxiety issues, so meeting new people can usually go fairly well or really bad, so I need to find someone that can work with a dog that is anxious.

He has never bitten anyone (knock on wood), he just gets nervous around new people and barks and lunges, which is scary for a German Shepherd sized dog, but he's the biggest suck once he gets past the anxiousness and is very cooperative.

So I'm hoping to find a groomer that is understandable of his issues and willing to let me stay and make sure he stays calm throughout the whole thing.

Any suggestions?

I dont have any personal experience with this location but there is a groomer in Hamilton that apparently works with difficult dogs or anxiety type issues.
It is called Dogs by Daisy. You may have to google it or call to confirm this information as again I only heard this and cannot verify.

I use petsmart for grooming. In the location we have hear the salon is behind a huge wall of windows so that everything can be scene. I wonder if your pup would be okay seeing you through the window....just a thought...
