PRP Injection

I have a 7 year old female Akita with a torn biceps tendon. The surgeon decided to give her a plasma injection which she received last Thursday morning. I know he said not to expect much for close to a month but was curious if anyone has experience with this and what your results were. She had been on prednisone every other day but had to come off of it 5 days prior to the shot. She was lame to begin with and that continues as expected while the shot hopefully generates the healing we are hoping for. Any advice or input would be appreciated. :thumbs up
