Owners' Park bark
By Brett Clarkson
PIT BULL lovers will be barking at Queen's Park tomorrow in a protest against the Liberals' proposed ban on the dogs. The demonstrators want to send the message to Attorney General Michael Bryant that a ban on pit bulls is unfair, unconstitutional and unworkable.
Pit bull owners and animal advocates have been fuming over his characterization of the dogs as "ticking time bombs."
Sylvia Sicuso, 32, will bethere in honour of her four-year-old pit bull, Shadow. "We have the right to own these dogs, and the dogs, when raised properly, aren't time bombs."
The "humans only" protest begins at noon.
