length of private msg

hi there, me again :angel: .

i was just wondering if there is any way we can make the PM's longer, for longer msg you have to send it in several parts and it is hard to give good explanations to some questions in the character space allowed. is that possible or is it the only way we can do it, a bit of a pain but if nothing can be done im sure we will all survive, it would just make things a little easier.

I'll look into this as well, though it seems to go against what we had in mind when we started this board.

The ultimate goal of this board is education and information. This goal is thwarted when questions are answered through private messages.

In general, we'd appreciate questions being answered through the board and NOT through PMing.

Sorry to butt in but I don't know about anyone else, I for one don't discuss pet issues in PM... especially when there's length involved. :D We need the length to discuss personal things :)
But I guess there's email for that....
