My pit bull has red spots on her belly! Please help!

My pitbull has gotten on her belly a few scab looking red spots over the past two days. It started with maybe 3 or 4 (which I thought she may be chaffing) but looked this morning and it has almost doubled. The spots don't bother her and she is not in pain. They seem to look like dry blood but I cannot wipe them off.

HELP! Because of the holiday weekend our vet is closed until Tuesday.:dog::dog::dog::dog::dog::dog::dog::dog::d og::dog::dog::dog::dog::dog::dog:

Has your dog been in the water recently ? I know of dog that got a rash on his belly after swimming in a pond. Poor doggy, it looks painful . I wonder if a baking soda paste would help until you can get to the vet? Can you call a Vet ER hospital and ask them what you can do ?

I just found this web site for a pets emergency in your state.

I would have this looked at. Worst case would be something like cutaneous/dermal hemangiosarcoma (pitt bulls are susceptible), but I hope that it's just something minor: http://www.danhonovich.com/p145624857/h97697D3#h97697d3 (the description that goes along with that picture isn't a very good one for the dermal version).

I would also want to have a blood count run, to check on platelets - if they are low, it can cause bleeding into the skin, though it doesn't usually look quite like that. Low platelets can be from tick disease, vaccine reactions, etc.

Let us know what the vet says!

Or low platelets can be from Evans Syndrome but I'd really hope it's not that serious.
