feral cat in house

Hi there.

I have ... wound up with a feral cat as a new addition to my menagerie..

He has been fixed, and a bad wound on his arm taken care of, along with the first round of shots.... if he gets out of the house, then at least he won't be making little kittens, or die of something bad...

However, now that he is in the house, the "spraying" competition with the other cats has started. ( I had the previous problem with the peeing by a cat fixed, but this cat appears to have restarted it. I scrubbed and dried every room, piece of furniture and the walls about a foot up with Mr. Clean... smashed my foot in the process too. :( ).

Anyway, the vet gave me this thing that is supposed to make cats think they already sprayed, that plugs into an electrical socket, and maybe it is doing something, but I'm not sure.

I wonder if anyone else has come across this, and found any good solutions.

Which reminds me... the mix of 16 oz 3% hydrogen peroxide, teaspoon of dish soap, and table spoon of baking soda in a spray bottle works REALLY well at cleaning!

It might take a while for his testosterone levels to go down enough. Some say a week while others claim months.
