What are the most effective meds for dogs anxiety?

Hello to all!
Advise me, please, the most effective meds to treat pet's anxiety!

I haven't had to go beyond training, exercise, kindness and love but I've heard of, not used, DAP and Rescue Remedy. Depends what the anxiety is. For instance many toe nail clipping averse dogs can be trained. Can you be more specific?

I'm with Longblades, I think we need a bit more info as to what type of anxiety you're dealing with. My previous pup had very bad seperation anxiety and Rescue Remedy did not help at all. I did try vet prescribed drugs (can't remember which as it was a long while ago) but they made her into a drugged out zombie so we ditched that idea. We did a lot of training, which was moderately helpful, but ultimately did not cure her issues. We hired doggy sitters constantly. That said, a lot of people have had great success with ThunderShirts. They seem to help a stressed out pup greatly. So if you can provide a bit more info someone here will be able to help you out I'm sure.
