Hi,
This is my first time posting here.
I just lost the most wonderful dog & my best friend,Rosebud, my 18.5 year old Shih Tzu.Yesterday she started having horrible uncontrollable seizures/convulsions every 15 minutes. She would stiiffen up and start crying and then her mouth opened wide as if she wanted to scream. It was horrible.I took her to the vet and she continued to have the same seizures/convulsions.
The vet said that it appears that she has some sort of brain disconnect, possibly a brain tumor.I had to do the most painful thing of my life and that was to put her down. She was in so much pain I could not stand for her to live that way.
She has been blind for a few years now and for the last few years we have had to carry her to go to the bathroom, eat and drink.
She has had several issues through her long life and I feel that I have been the best mom ever.
I still miss her and will always remember her.I have another Shih Tzu who is only 7 years old that I will now devote my attention to him.
