Hi,
I'm new here. I have a litlle cat, Lili and a stray feral one outside that I have been taking care of for 5 years.
I had 4 cats at one time and 2 who were put down within 6 weeks of each other. One, Luci was 21 years old and the other, Mikey 12, had lipidosis and I nursed him back to health force-feeding with a syringe every 2 hours (nights included) for 4 months until he resumed eating on his own. It was short-lived ,however, and the condition returned 1 yr. later which is unusual unless it was a secondary disease-it was.I gave him quality of life for a year.
Lili seems to be exhibiting the same thing. She is 2 and I am beyond myself but will do what I must.
