Hi everyone!

I'm new here. We just adopted a 1.5 yr old lab mix from the Humane Society and we are absolutely in love with him. We have a 2 year old cat at home, but are first time dog owners and I am finding I have a ton of questions.

I googled and found this forum and I'm glad I did!

I'm a 31 year old married mother of a three old little girl and of course, my new 1.5 year old fur baby, Medic!

We live in Windsor, Ontario.

Welcome to the Board. Medic is just too cute for words. I agree with you, I don't know how people can give them up. I'd strongly recommend you look into a good training class that you and Medic can to go together. It will help you to bond with him and to reinforce his respect for you as his pack leader. Thank you for adopting, Medic will make it worth your while.
