The Digston Family

So I figured I may as well formally introduce myself and my furry babies as I intend to stick around :)

I worked at a pet store for 2 years, taking care of all the feathered and fuzzies within it. That experience has allowed me to gain a fair amount of knowledge on many different animals. I am expanding that knowledge base in August when I start into a Veterinary Technician program.

This forum is a wonderful place. A place of sharing and learning. I am sure that we will butt heads every once and a while as it is also a place of many varying opinions. But I look forward to the opportunity to learn from all of your experiences!

Now for my kids!! I'm sure you can all relate to my feelings of pride and love when it comes to my furry babies. I am that person that pulls out her phone to show random people pictures of them, and I'll probably relay some of that adoration in my posts from time to time.... just bare with me... I am not entirely crazy :)

:dog: I have Digby, a 3 year old Cavalier Spaniel x Austrailian Shephard. He's the tri colored kid that often gets called a St. Bernard x Corgi... oh the interesting things people come up with lol
:dog: There's Winston. He's my 2 year old Boxer x Red Heeler. Biggest baby in the entire world, he recently gave us quite a laugh when he panicked at the dog park because of a fast approaching dog. Dropped to the ground in the submissive position, I suppose I should mention the other dog was a Chihuahua.
:cat: Pez is my 6 year old, snot shooting, grey DLH. She was an SPCA kitty that came down with a severe upper respiratory infection shortly after she came home and the booger bullets are a lasting effect of that. Its quite disguisting but we love her all the same :)
:cat: And then there's Nigel. Our 8 year old, black DSH. That's Nigel to a T.

Hi Digston!

What a gorgeous furry family you have! Love the camo shot of Nigel blending into the bookcase.

Glad to hear that you're going to stay. :thumbs up
