Seal (Black) Boxers

November 15th, 2011, 07:33 AM
We need a new thread. The other day I saw a black and white boxer, absolutely stunning. I ask "Is this a designer breed?" cause it doesn't seem to be the standard. I love the boxer breed and I hope they aren't experimenting with the breed for the fun of it!!! There are so many boxers in the shelters. I had a boxer for a brief time, and I love the breed however they are not for everyone. It takes a lot of experience and patience to raise a boxer.

There is no such thing as a solid black boxer.
Reverse brindle or sealed brindle is what it must have been.
Some of the top winning show dogs are sealed brindles. I can't find pictures of the one I always loved her name was Tilly.
My friend has a sealed brindle plain who is as pure bred as they come and is working towards her Canadian Ch.
When you get up really close you can see the brindle, but someo of them do appear black.
