My 6mo old kitten had developed a cloudy eye in the last 2 days she started out just squinting the eye now it is slightly cloudy there is no drainage and the white of the eye is not bloodshot it does not seem to be painful and her activity and appetite are not affected. Just curious if this is serious . I have no xtra money to take to the vet. I just spent all I had on her dog sister Emily who fortunately has completely recovered from parvo. Any suggestions on anything I can do to help her.

I would find a way to beg/borrow some money to get your kitten to the vet, or she could lose her eye. Never take an eye issue for granted. Perhaps if you explain the situation to your vet, they'll allow you to make payments. There are also groups that provide financial assistance to those who are low-income earners or are disabled or senior citizens. This website might you help you with that: http://redrover.org/index.cfm?navid=28

Since most of our members are not vets we can't advise you on the seriousness of the issue, except to say that eye issues should never be waited on, it's such a delicate organ & yet so vital.
Here is another site that may be able to offer assistance http://www.carecredit.com/vetmed/
:goodvibes: & let us know what the vet says
