We had to say goodbye October 3 2009 but not a day has passed that I have not thought about Him, missed Him, cried about losing Him or been glad that we shared over 13 years together.
Here he is in His glory. What a guy.http://i46.tinypic.com/2rrsc2u.jpg

I don't come here much but I just want to say this.
I know we all have lost our best friends and suffer for it greatly when they go. I have posted twice before since losing Gordie and everyone has always had good things to say.
thanks to everyone
and to those that have lost their friends I share your pain.

Time does help to take away the worst of the pain, but our beloved furries always hold a very tender part of our hearts. And thank goodness for that! I would never want to forget the wonderful times I've had with all of mine that have gone before, and now as I prepare myself for the next one to go I know it will hurt like heck, but like you, it's just been a joy to share my life with Shadow my soul dog. Count yourself lucky if you have such great memories that you can shed a tear for your lost loves. Your boy looks like he was magnificent!

Seeker, my heart goes out to you :grouphug:
Gordie was such a striking boy. I love his "mask".
They sure have a way of getting into our hearts, don't they?
It's his turn to watch over you :angel2:
