German Shepherd from RCMP?

Just wondering if anyone here if looking for a GSD in Canada would consider one from the RCMP? They have from time to time pups available and there is a list you can put your name on. Sometime when I get a new vehicle I want to go up to Innisfail and watch some of the training.

That would be very cool! Would those be like year old dogs who aren't working out with the training that they sell? I could never get a GSD, Shadow was attacked by one as a young dog and has hated them ever since. If I got one I'd feel like I was betraying her!:o

its a very very long waiting list, I put my name on the list and filled out all the appropriate forms/vet forms also and references 7 yrs ago when Daisy was still alive, 2 yrs ago I finally heard from them.

No RCMP uses and have their own GSD breeding program. If you want on the list, a word of warning, be prepared for a serious handful of a very driven dog, not exactly laying on the couch typical pet material. If you don't have any experience with high drive working dogs, this may be a very bad idea.
