Nasal Infection

September 5th, 2011, 09:44 AM
My doberman has been diagnosed with Mild Lymphoplasmacytic Rhinitis, she had a rhinocospy and no cancer cells are present. She is not responding to antibotics. I am purchasing VN-4 Occulonat Homepathic Pellets to try. Has anyone else had a similiar problem.

This stuff really really really really sucks.

I've been dealing with this with my boy for years.

I found that Hylands Hayfever product helped him quite a bit (me too).

For the nose itself, it might depend on the antibiotics that were tried - my boy's has responded to cipro and to azithromycin, though sometimes this nasal stuff is fungal and needs an anti-fungal. The vet could find nothing to culture when she went in, just inflammation. I have been worried about Bartonella - are your dogs gums red along the gum line at all?
