I can tell you this much, I've never known a hungry dog to starve itself. dogcatharmony June 21st, 2011, 05:31 PM zoe gets a whole fish, innards and all when my neighbour goes fishing, so maybe twice a month, she loves it. I just have to make sure she doesn't do the roll on it before eating it.....stinky Backwoodsgal August 28th, 2011, 03:40 PM I personally wouldn't give a dog fish bones. The meat and the innards, yes, but not the bones. Fish have small bones and are more suited to cats, IMO. My dogs have always eaten too fast for me to give them small bones like in fish. For me, it reduces the chances of choking, and I split animal parts between the cats and dogs. I also don't give the dogs shrimp shells because the tails are sharp. But if you're not having any issues, then I guess you're dog is good at handling fish bones. | ||||
