This cat has been hanging around our backyard for the last month or so. Approachable and friendly. Appears to be about one year old. If this is your lost pet then please contact me.

Woofendog, she looks terribly skinny and looks to have mats, are you feeding her??
She looks to have been a beautiful cat, what are you doing to try to find an owner??
Maybe she's micro-chipped??

I did feed the cat as per the blue container in the photo. The cat has not shown up for the past few days unless he shows during the overnight hours. Hopefully found his way home. I am not able to leave food our during the night. This morning the black stray cat (previous post) was on my enclosed back deck. He managed to get through the hole in the lattice work caused by either a badger or the racoons. No problem, easy repair. Earlier this week I reached out my upstairs bedroom window to retrieve a gentle cat who managed to climb onto the back deck roof. He had a collar (no address), very friendly and surely someone's pet who lets him roam free on a heavy traffic street. Too bad people are so irresponsible when it comes to pet ownership.

Woofendog, you seem to be a wonderful caring person:grouphug:.hopefully this kitty will come back,he does not look to be in good shape, probably does not have an owner and if he does,it's a bad owner.
Cleaned up and brushed, this kitty would be beautiful.
If he does come back, maybe you can catch him and BenMax will take care of him.

I did not see him or her for the last few weeks. Then on 23 August 2011, I had to use the garden hose to separate him/her and the black stray cat who were locked in battle. If I am able to capture the long haired orange cat, I could keep the cat fed and housed in the back cabin for a few days. I will then post again if someone is serious about providing a permanent home. It would also be nice to find a permanent home before winter for the small black male cat who has shown up for breakfast and supper for the last five years or so. Thanks.

Right now he has his freedom but eventually will run out of luck crossing this busy street. He is about five years old, male with claws, and will need to be neutered to turn him into an indoor cat. I would take him in but am already well over my limit. Thanks
