My cat throws up if he doesnt eat when he wants to.
Just a small clear fluid. He also is nauseous off and on during the day.
I read about Curcumin 95%, bought a bottle of 500mg caps.
But I dont know how much to give him per day and if it would help at all.
Could you inform me on Curcumin?

Is there any way to leave some wet food out for him to snack on, or is that not an option?

I wonder if a small dose (1/8-1/4 of a 10mg pill) of Pepcid AC (not Pepcid Complete, has to be the AC version) would help with that? Ask your vet about it the next time you're there.

Curcumin is really not used in cats much, and when it is, I've only heard about it for arthritic conditions. I realize that for people it's thought to be excellent for all kinds of inflammation, I just have no idea how (or if) that applies to cats. Sorry I can't help with the dose. Perhaps start with somewhere less than 1/10th of the suggested human dose and go from there.

Slippery elm bark powder, if you haven't already tried that, would be my recommendation. It's soothing to an inflammed digestive tract, and many people with CRF cats use it to control stomach acid reflux.

Thanks for the reply. Is Pepcid AC over the counter? :)

You can get it off the shelf at any pharmacy. Comes in a box that looks like this: http://www.pepcidcomplete.ca/en/prod_ac.asp
