My name is Cindy and I heard about this website from a friend. My 11 year old Poodle/Shih Tzu cross was diagnosed a few days ago with Diabetes. I am a little stressed and having major issues trying to test his blood. If anyone has any information that can help, please let me know.

It might also be helpful to start a new thread in the senior dog forum about the problems you're encountering. I hope someone will be able to answer your questions about the testing. :fingerscr We have a number of members who have had experience with diabetic dogs.

Meanwhile, we'd love to see pics of your boy when things settle down a bit.
