The Hovel is Nekked

My house is hideous! Seriously, I've been in prettier cell blocks... :laughing:

The structure is cement block with siding on all but the back. I'm going to re-paint the back wall and I've begun my "poor man's patio". I've just made up a batch of "moss" with the intention of painting it on the chunks of concrete I've positioned as "walls" around the flower/veg garden area. But I came across this:

and am wondering if anyone has tried moss graffito ? It would certainly smarten up that oogly wall.

Apparently! I came across a guerilla gardening site with a vid posted by some skateboarder dudes who did a wall in Toronto. *I know, I know... Toronto doesn't get THAT cold*. The "real North" ~ who knows? If you have moss where you live it should adapt to vertical with a little care.

That's really neat, 3xm. I did laugh at the Mown a Lisa, which wouldn't last long once the grass starting growing again, but using moss in an artistic way is a great idea. :)

Yup it sure is! many of the recipes involve differing ingredients. I'm wondering if one is more successful than others in establishing and promoting growth.
