Once again the sale of the of the facility is mentioned, but denied....... where there is smoke there's fire...
The THS is situated on prime downtown land in Toronto and must be worth a fortune.

Recovery is going to be very difficult. The political turmoil will continue as there are fresh wounds and I don't see complete rest for sometime.
Shelters are run on too much emotion. People go in there to make changes and share ideas..but there are others that are there for their own agenda..which makes it very difficult to settle in and share the same philosophies.
The Montreal SPCA went through similiar turmoil (not cruelty related) and it is still trying to recover.
It's going to take time, and eventually the right people to get this place back on track for the good of the animals one hopes.

I just saw this now. The THS is not for sale, nor was there ever any truth to that rumour. There are no plans to sell the THS. End of story.
It is amazing how quickly rumours like this can get out of control despite the fact, however unfounded they are.
