Update On Weinie Dog

I posted on sunday about my little dachshund dragging his legs.
we took him to an emergency vet and was told it was an out of place disk. Living in a small town we had to drive 3 hours for the closest neurologist.
He underwent surgery and is now recovering. He is eating and having fluids at the hospital. The dr.s said they havent seen movement yet. which leads me to ask.
When should we expect movement? i plan on asking the vet but im away from the number.,

As BenMax said, many of us have dealt with medical issues and surgeries. The people here are just wonderful. I don't know how I would have kept it together had I not found this forum :)
