Hi all, I'm joining the forum in the efforts to learn all that I can about the pets that I have in order to give them a happy and long life.
We just lost our 4 year old cat Cuda to chronic blockage issues. After 2 emergency surgeries that bought him an extra 3 months, he blocked again. We had to make the tough choice to have him humanely euthanized. It was the hardest thing we've ever done (my fiance and I) and we don't look forward to doing it again but know full well that its a responsibility that comes with pet ownership.
We are looking to adopt another cat from a rescue, we couldn't save Cuda but theres no reason why we can't save another cat from the same sad fate.
We also have a few other pets, 2 dogs and 2 cats. :) I can't wait to meet everyone here!
