Lost cat in Aurora, Ontario (Yonge and Orchard Heights)

October 28th, 2010, 09:45 AM
Hello everyone. Tosha is a 7yr old spayed pure white female. She is not declawed and is microchipped. She was last seen on October 23, 2010 at our home. Tosha is very timid yet friendly and will approach people no problem. Please if you have any information, let me know. My children and I miss her terribly. Thank you very much!!

Have you checked with the OSPCA in Newmarket, they handle animal control for Aurora....although your cat is microchipped if the chip has travelled and an inexperienced worker doesn't realize that chips can travel in an animal they may have missed it. Their # is 905-898-7122.

Hi Chris! Thank you for your reply. I have spoken with them and sent them a flyer etc. She actually came from them. I will be honest with you, I didn't know that about the microchips so I am very grateful that you wrote! I have looked at some great suggestions on this site for help in finding her. I will be going there this evening and the Kennel Inn in Aurora just to have a look for myself. Thanks again!

Going there to look for yourself is the best way to be sure.....Looking under decks and in neighbouring garages and sheds is also a must.....Good Luck.

cats are very territorial and will not leave their "area". she is probably not too far from home. Cats that are injured may hide out until they feel safe from predators. Good luck, I hope she gets home safe and sound
