BELLA, F Yellow Lab, lost in VERMONT

September 8th, 2010, 02:41 PM
I am happy to report, though, that about the time that word was really starting to spread about Bella, she was located! As the story goes, a store owner down the road from where she escaped saw a car pull up and dump a yellow lab out. As there were posters up everywhere with Bella's picture on it so he went out and called to her as the car was pulling away. Sure enough, it was Bella. Safe and sound, several pounds heavier, still wearing her collar and missing ONLY the tag with her name and her foster "mother's" phone number on it. Because she has terrible allergies and had missed several treatments her ears and skin are in rough shape, but otherwise she is happy.
I have been struck by the outpouring of encouragement and support around finding that goofy dog! Thank you for your kindness and heart. In this world it is a true gift!
Be well,
"Foster Mom"

BELLA, female yellow lab, belongs to a SOLDIER serving in AFGHANISTAN
and needs to be found.
BELLA was wearing ID tags when she escaped and she IS microchipped!
She was last seen Aug 23, 2010 in Jeffersonville, VERMONT where she escaped from the yard where she is staying.
Please help Bella get home!
